After three nights spent in Florence I’m really happy to say I’ve finally gotten on top of any jetlag and have a clear head to enjoy my wonderful trip to Italy. Jess and I are loving being tourists! I turn to her every few hours, totally incredulous ‘Are we really here?!”. It’s just so beautiful. I’m particularly loving the food, being gluten intolerant I expected to find very little here to satisfy my hunger but gratefully every Caprese salad and prosciutto with melon dish I’ve had has been absolutely delicous and so refreshing in the heat. Winner.
However, the best part of being here has absolutely hands down been meeting fellow fashion bloggers Aimee Song (Song of Style), Andy Torres (Style Scrapbook) and Wendy Nguyen (Wendy’s Lookbook). It was brilliant to have the opportunity to talk all things full-time fashion blogging with the girls and exciting to hear about the highs and lows (there’s not really any lows!) from three people I respect and admire. I loved how none of these ladies are taking these amazing oppurtunities for granted – and are so humble all the way.
Thanks so much go again to Jess for snapping my outfit on the world famous Ponte Vecchio, a place close to my heart because last time I was here with my folks, my Dad bought my Mum a beautiful eternity ring from one of the many jewellery stores lined along the bridge. I got excited with my spend up in Zara and then decided to wear all my purchases at once. I will always love Zara and it’s amazing how much better the product in the Northern Hemisphere compared to what we get in the South. I know you’re probably getting sick of my Alexander Wang Marion bag but too bad… its the only handbag I brought with me!
